Anna Dancer 02:54
I love all the time we spend I cannot get enough I love all the stars you've made I think of them, so very much And I would like to speak with you In a language you can understand I would like to talk to you If luck would give me the upper hand Then I'd understand Maybe I'd comprehend These signals you've Given me I may just kiss your head I may just kiss you neck If I didn't know anything I'd say you're the finest I'd ever seen Oh my lord She's a singer She's a dancer She's a real great singer But you've never Heard of her before Always on the road of course Playing shows that nobody attends If I could understand How a talent such as hers You cannot comprehend But I'll never understand I hope she finds her way somehow

Vargas Girl 03:41
It is obvious That you're ready for A great leap forward today Said this Vargas Girl Right to me I'm still trying to figure out just What she meant You've got to help me figure this out Help me find this girl Somewhere around town She's always wearing a small red cap Oh, what do you know I think we've got a match She wanted breakfast I said, "Meet me down the street From where I'm at There's a place I think That you'll like And when you get there Just ask for the darkest corner In the spot That's where I most like to be" You've got to help me figure this out I can't help, but obsess About even the smallest of things Won't you please, help me out Just try and think What it's like to be Crazy Like Just save me Just try and think what it's like Oh wont you, wont you save me

Merriwether Pleasure Center What were you hiding there? Merriwether Pleasure Center What were you hiding there? You wrote all these strange stories What do they mean? You wanted us all there all day What were you... Merriwether Pleasure Center What were you up to? Merriwether Pleasure Center And if you take a-another look You'll see You'll see Merriwether Pleasure Center What were you hiding there? I just do not trust pigs like Eyesner Or his chair Call it superstitious But like Michael Scot I think it's just a "Lilttle Stitious" Call it what you will But I know there was Something there Merriwether, Merriwether Merriwether, Pleasure Center What were you hiding On the other side of the wall? On the other side of the wall On the other side of the... And if you take a- Another look You'll see You'll see

Lighthouse 02:00
Are you really here To take away My property All I have is this lighthouse And in this lighthouse Are all my memories Without them I'm incomplete Am I really now just a waste? Am I just a waste? Is this truly what I deserve I thought I'd done Everything right All my dues They should be paid off All I beg of you is to just Just give me one more day Before I'm cast out as just a waste As just a waste Just a waste Just a waste I really did think that I had Everything in place Never did I imagine I'd be cast out In such a way I never imaged myself being Just a waste I thought I had everything right In it's place

Talk 02:30
No one is gonna bail you out When your daddies had his fun Look he's trying to push you away So you'd better grab his cash And run You're gonna rob him dry But I guess I'm not one to talk You're gonna cut him down Suppose I've done my fair share And walked Walked out a free man For a crime that I did In fact commit And now I'm paying off my debt To the man Oh, it never does relent You've become poisonous Yeah I can tell But it doesn't matter Cause who you want Is already Under your spell You're hurting for fun now But you'll soon become Addicted You let true happiness pass you by And you Always will We are creature of our habits And yours are horrible You always complain About The man But I would argue You're just as bad

Welcome Back 03:26
Like lightning on your fingertips You scream, "Baby, oh I think I'm back! I almost went down in flames, But now who has the last laugh?" Maybe their not out to get me honestly i can't tell Maybe their not trying to kill me but I can't take my chances With Lightning now in the palm of your hand You can fly just don't go near the sea You will upset the spirits there Poseidon will surely be so pissed. Maybe their not out to get me honestly i can't tell Maybe their not trying to kill me but I can't take my chances Oh Welcome Back It's been Such a long time Maybe their on their way to kill me I just haven't been tipped off by my spy Baby their in for a big surprise 'Cause I'm gonna take them down.

I didn't mean to be A drag I didn't mean to Bring the mood down I was just thinking about How great it feels To be here with you And just you Around you I feel I can fly Maybe I can I've Never tried Why Why haven't I tried Why Why haven't I tried Oh yes It's because You weren't here I'm so glad you are here Visiting for a short time baby I'm so glad you are here Visiting from New York City I'm gonna take you somewhere Nice today Ooh, maybe somewhere Far away A place with no people or cars Have you ever gone to Mars? Cause I hear it's so Nice this time of... Year I'm so glad you are here

about

I've always found the term "solo album" to be quite odd. The reality is that very few solo albums are made without significant collaboration from other songwriters, producers, engineers, etc. It exists as purely a marketing strategy from what I can tell, and that's fine... this however, is not a "solo album." It is an album; entitled 'Soul Oh!'
